I am Eunsom Jeon (전은솜), an Assistant Professor at Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech). I lead Intelligent Media and Recognition Lab (지능형 미디어 연구실, IMRL). My current research interests include knowledge distillation, multimodal data analysis (video, image, and time-series data analysis), human behavior analysis, deep learning, and artificial analysis.

Prior to SeoulTech, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at ASU and worked at Geometric Media Lab with Prof. Pavan Turaga. I received Ph.D. degree from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Pavan Turaga. Before joining ASU, I worked as a Research Engineer at Korea Telecom (Institute of Convergence Technology), Seoul, Korea. I received Bachelor and Master’s degree from Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea, and worked as a research assistant with Digital Media Lab advised by Prof. Kang Ryoung Park.
